Craig is the youngest member of staff and is currently studying and completing his level 3 diploma in sports science. Having joined the Sportlink Team in 2013, he has been able to combine his Sports Science studies and skills with his work whilst helping customers and clients with all their running and fitness requirements.
Craig has a good background in running, and set a new school record for the 800 metres of 2 mins 11.4 secs (rounded up to 2:12) whilst representing Hellesdon High School at the Norfolk County Schools Championships in 2013. He also represented Hellesdon and Norwich District in the Norfolk Schools Cross Country Championships two years running.
Apart from running, he has a huge interest in football for which he makes the best use of his running talents and also represented his school in many competitions helping his team to win the Norfolk FA School's County Cup Competition in 2014. He currently plays football for Norwich’s oldest football club CEYMS.
He has a huge interest in running shoe technology and is always keen to learn as much as he can about the new developments and materials which the manufacturers are looking to improve on all the time.
I am a level 3 Athletics coach specialising in Marathon.
I have ran several marathons, my favourites being off road, especially the Beachy Head Marathon on the South Downs.
I am a Specialist at the Sportspark, involved with the FILL (Fitness In Later Life) programme and the Inclusive Sport sessions where I adapt various sports to make them access able for people with disabilities. Previous to this I was Sales Manager at Pilch where I worked for seven years.
